I’m going to go ahead and say that the holiday break was too long and so much comedy news has piled up that I shouldn’t even jokingly have this sentence run on and on and on and on and… so forth. Along with @midnight returning, Louis C.K. is going to sell his own movie that never got released, The Pete Holmes Show got renewed, and even a Groundhog Day musical is in the works by someone that might be able to pull it off.

So, enough of that set up and on to The Biggest Happenings in Comedy Right Now!

IFC’s head of original programming Debbie DeMontreux who has been responsible for many of the comedy shows that currently brand IFC as a solid comedy channel has left IFC.
