The Best of Doctor Who Week, Vol. 2

We’re hours away from the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, “The Day of the Doctor,” and we’re happier than an adipose at a Texas BBQ festival. We’ve been celebrating Doctor Who Week with videos all week here on Nerdist.com and with some of our companions on YouTube.

Returning for more stop-motion adventure is the Doctor Puppet. In an episode titled “Baker’s Eleven,” the Doctor Puppet gets a visit from some old acquaintances while making a mess of a soufflé-making puppet’s shop.

Matt Smith, David Tennant and Steven Moffat talked to BBC America to explain how the two doctors came together for the 50th Anniversary Special.

Our friends at Screen Team have put together a full menus of party snacks for your Anniversary Special screening party. These fixin’s would fit in great with the rest of these Timelord Tapas.

The Geek and Sundry Vloggers continue celebrating their love of the Doctor with videos showing you everything from how to make a fez (because a fez is cool) to performing the Doctor Who theme on violin and keyboard (kitty!).

Need more Doctor Who goodness? Check out the Doctor-inspired videos from the rest of Doctor Who week and check out the Nerdist produced 50th Anniversary pre-show with Veronica Belmont. Featuring a bevy of special guests, the pre-pre show will begin at 11:15 am PT on BBC America’s YouTube channel, then at 11:30 am PT, the pre-show will begin on BBC America before we finally get to watch “The Day of the Doctor” together as a planet in this global simulcast.
