From our friends at Foodbeast comes this heartwarming… no, that’s not the word for it. It involves a heartbroken woman named Lorraine Tran who also happens to be an amazingly good baker. She was dumped by her boyfriend a week before Valentine’s Day. And the result was the Beating Heart Cake, which is a red velvet cake that looks a little more realistic than the Valentine’s cake you’d get at the grocery. AND IT BEATS.
