The Beach Boys Reunited With John Stamos This Weekend

John Stamos hasn’t been Uncle Jesse since Full House went off the air in 1995… unless you count the mini-reunion on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon or his frequent in-character appearances in our hearts. Regardless, Fuller House, the Netflix Full House reboot, is on the way, which means that Stamos is back in full “Have mercy” mode, and that includes his relationship with The Beach Boys. The band performed at the L.A. County Fair over the weekend, and their set featured Stamos reuniting with the Boys to perform a few songs, including staples like “Kokomo” and “Barbara Ann.” Check out some performance clips below.

Keep in mind that this isn’t the first time Stamos has performed with the group since the show ended. Over the past 20 or so years, he has joined the Beach Boys on stage multiple times, but the magic never seems to fade. The band and their crew commemorated the event by showing a photo of a young, hot tub-dwelling Stamos:

Stamos shared a few photos of his own on Instagram, and they have our hearts all aflutter:

In case, for reasons we will never understand, you have never seen Full House and Stamos’ relationship with The Beach Boys doesn’t make any sense, the band made a memorable appearance on the show during its second season, performed songs with the Tanner family and had wonderful times. Uncle Jesse also had a hit Japanese single with his cover of “Forever”, which even outside of the show is probably remembered more as a Jesse and the Rippers song than a Beach Boys tune.
