Nothing says hero worship quite like artistic adulation. Which is exactly why everyone’s favorite Los Angeles-based pop culture art gallery about superheroes â the Hero Complex Gallery â has teamed up with Marvel and over 100 artists in order to craft a bunch of art in order to celebrate the release of Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1st.
In their biggest pop culture art event of the year, (I mean how else do you celebrate what’s sure to be one of the biggest movies of the year?), Hero Complex Gallery will launch an all-Avengers themed show on the evening of Friday, April 24th, from 7-10 PM PST in Los Angeles. There will be sculptures, installations, paintings, and so, so much more, exclusive artwork from some of the most talented fan boys and girls around. Every last thing in the show, will be inspired by Age of Ultron.
And guess what? They’re even giving out free custom collectible chocolate bars for opening night attendees (while supplies last, natch, so get there on time)!
So just to reiterate: chocolate, art, Avengers. IS THERE ANYTHING THIS EVENT DOESN’T HAVE? I mean jeez.
Don’t worry if you can’t make the opening night reception, though: the show will be on display until May 17th. We’ve included all the relevant information â and a few artist images â below.
