I know that you’re probably feeling like you have no control over anything as Ben Affleck got cast as Batman and Miley Cyrus twerked weirdly at the VMAs or the fact that those are the two top news stories this past week over anything happening in Egypt, Bradley/Chelsea Manning, the government sanctioned homophobia in Russia. There shouldn’t be a coping mechanism for any of those things, but luckily, I have this week’s 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos here to give you a half hour or so of laughter to bring some levity to your chaotic life browsing your Tumblr feed.
1. Will Ferrell introduces a whole brand new look to Funny or Die and series of parodies of which hopefully FoD will be making longer versions.
2. Submitted: sketch group Good Cop Great Cop gives hope that we can all find love, even the hopelessly delusional roommate who lies about his entire identity and financial situation.
3. Out of the millions of universes and possibilities that could we’ve have speculated from theoretical time travel, sketch group Uncle Mom picks and acts out the one you probably never thought of.
4. Jash’s buh “uncovered” the best faux-teenage Christian/basketball talk show from the 90’s that you’ve unfortunately never heard of, “Take a Knee with Rebecca Tréhouse”.
5. Submitted: Geoff Garlock brings you Dick Silhouette, a man who is trying to bring you… well, something… I think.
