I can’t help if you were massively disappointed with HBO’s recently premiered drama series from Aaron Sorkin, The Newsroom. I’m not Aaron Sorkin, nor do I hold any sway over at HBO. I mean, watch Network if you want a palate cleanser along the same lines. What I can do is give you a brief intermittent bit (just under 15 min.) of joy with The 5 Most Intentionally Videos This Week.
Enjoy.
1. Sure, Rory Scovel is a man of a thousand voices. The more amazing feat is that he is hilarious in all of them, like this latest set on Conan.
2. Do you know what being snowjacked means? Neither do we, but that doesn’t really matter because the Snowjacked web series from Kelsy Abbott and John Olsen at Shut Up! Cartoons is pretty hilarious.
3. Alison Brie and Jason Ritter are so good in this parody of You’ve Got Mail, You Got Retweeted, that someone must have thought it was a real movie, even with all the meta jokes.
4. The trailer for Celeste and Jesse Forever plays like the next installment in a to-be-released DVD collection of Best Romantic Comedies So Far In This Millennium.
5. Steve Carell showed, on The Daily Show. how prolific of an author he is to his old boss Jon Stewart, even in just a single afternoon.
Per usual, Iâm taking submissions for the 5 MIFV like the two featured above. Same rules still apply.

-Donât add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link
I loved how the crowd was completely with Rory Scovel when they saw him come out with a beer.
I loved the Newsroom. I got exactly what I was expecting.
What does this have to do with these videos? Nothing? Ok.
Who didn’t like Newsroom? It was probably one of the best pilots I’ve seen in a long time. Most good shows start our rocky, but this one was pretty solid. So either you don’t don’t like Sorkin’s style of writing, in which case why were you interested in the first place, or you just are alergic to good TV.
I was just watching Conan while making dinner and I loved Rory Scovel. He was absolutely hilarious. I also saw Steve Carell when he was on the Daily Show. He was great and I loved how he played it straight the entire time. Of course, he’s always good when he’s on there.
