The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week 5/7/13

Dreading the return of Honey Boo Boo/the direction of reality TV/society? Well, what I can see here at The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week is that you can just ignore all of it and get a hardy laugh at videos in which almost everyone involved knows what’s going on and why it’s funny and why it should be worthy of watching.

1. Kyle Kinane deserves a show on TV. That’s why he made a pilot presentation for an off-beat travel show called “Kyle Kinane’s Going Nowhere” which wasn’t picked up for some foolish reason.

2. This past Cinco De Mayo, Conan O’Brien’s prop master Bill Tull gave us all some budget tips on how to celebrate, especially if you like you breaking your household appliances.

3. Zach Galifianakis’ monologue on SNL is the closest we’ll get, for now, to him doing stand-up, so cherish this.

4. Submitted: BriTANick find (and abuse) the secret to that shimmery look you get from coming out of a pool.

5. Submitted: Innovative web series Conversations With A Twitter Feed observes comedian Mike Lawrence clearly not being over working at McDonald’s for several years while chatting with @McDonalds.

And in case you missed it, check out last week’s 5 MIFV.

Per usual, I’m taking submissions for the 5 MIFV every week like the two featured above. Same rules still apply.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected] with subject line “5 MIFV Submission”
-Submit by the end of the upcoming Monday (which would be 5/13)
-Videos must be posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) between 5/7 and the end of Monday 5/13
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link.

    I LOVED “Going Nowhere”!

It’s a shame it’s a shame it wasn’t picked up. It’s like a daytime “Insomniac with Dave Attell”, which I dearly miss.
