The 2nd High Plains Comedy Festival Has Got One of Heck of a Line-up

Outside of the world’s major comedy festivals such as JFL Montreal or Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival, there is a wave of comedy festivals that are much smaller in scale, but packed with just as much amazing performers and talent as their bigger counterparts. Portland’s annual Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the upcoming Maui Comedy Festival are such festivals that comes to mind.  Denver’s High Plains Comedy Festival comes under the same umbrella drawing top level comedy to Mile-High City.

High Plains had a great inaugural edition last year and is aiming to top themselves this year. Looking over the comedians that they currently have booked, they might just accomplish that. Plenty of Nerdist favorites (many of them have their own podcast here at Nerdist) are slated to perform including Jonah Ray, Pete Holmes, TJ Miller, Kumail Nanjiani, Bryan Cook, and Emily Gordon. Others you’ve undoubtedly seen on @midnight like Beth Stelling, Howard Kremer, Sean Patton, and Baron Vaughn.

Thus far, the stellar High Plains line-up features:

Pete Holmes
TJ Miller
Kumail Nanjiani
Amber Tozer
Adam Cayton-Holland
Kate Berlant
Beth Stelling
Bryan Cook
Cameron Esposito
Andrew Orvedahl
Howard Kremer
