Telltale’s GAME OF THRONES Gets Full Trailer and Release Dates

Winter is coming faster than you might think. In fact, it’s coming tomorrow in the form of “Iron From Ice”, the first episode of Telltale Games long-awaited Game of Thrones series.

To support the impending release, Telltale has assembled a brand new launch trailer that will have you tittering with nervous glee like Sansa at an all-you-can-eat lemon cake buffet.

In case you’re worried about spoilers, the series takes place between season three and the beginning of season five for fans of the HBO show. The series will span an unprecedented six episodes, and the first episode clocks in around two hours, putting you in the shoes of members of House Forrester, longtime bannermen to House Stark. With five playable characters from across House Forrester, top notch voice acting from cast members of the HBO series, and a seriously unsettling atmosphere of murder, mischief, and political intrigue, Iron From Ice looks like it will deliver on its promise of bringing fans inside the troubled world of Westeros.

I’ve played the game and, spoiler alert, it’s fantastic, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for my full review. In fact, why not play Telltale’s other new title Tales from the Borderlands while you wait for Game of Thrones to unlock on Steam?

As for what you can expect from the sprawling game, we gave you your first look at Malcolm last week, and now we have a gallery of character posters for the members of House Forrester, as well as their ancestral home of Ironrath.

Game of Thrones: Episode 1 – Iron From Ice is available tomorrow on PC/MAC and PlayStation 4 (USA); Wednesday, 12/3 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4 (Europe); and Thursday, 12/4 on iOS.
