Telltale Reveals The WALKING DEAD: MICHONNE Trailer

We already knew we’d be getting our first official look at the three-episode standalone event for Telltale’s The Walking Dead, but that doesn’t change the fact that we were excited when the trailer finally hit. During The Game Awards this evening, the folks behind the series dropped a brand new video, giving us a taste of the Michonne-centered miniseries that’s on the way. Check out the badass sneak peek at the top of the page.

Man oh man, does that look good. I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Although we don’t know much about the plot, we got a taste of what’s to come in the trailer and the video’s description.

“The story explores Michonne, portrayed by award-winning actress Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black), on an untold journey during the time between issues #126 and #139. Haunted by her past, players will discover what took her away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.”

In addition to the trailer, the developer also revealed that The Walking Dead: Michonne is due out next February, which is later than the fall launch window they were originally shooting for. As for when the third season will arrive, we still haven’t received word. But, with PSX going down this weekend, there’s still time for another announcement.

The Walking Dead: Michonne will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows PC.
