Telltale Games Announces GAME OF THRONES Season 2

There are some spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones Episode 6: The Ice Dragon. You’ve been warned!

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series wrapped up this week with its sixth episode, and House Forrester was left in an even graver position than before. And you thought that the Starks had it bad on the Game of Thrones TV series!

But no matter how it plays out in your adventure, the story of House Forrester isn’t over. Telltale Games has announced that a second season of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is in development.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Telltale Games CEO Kevin Bruner said “the questions left on the table at the conclusion of season one, who survived and who didn’t, as well as all the other choices you made play a huge role in the second season. We’ve been planning the second season all along, but I really shouldn’t be revealing more than that.”

Bruner also addressed the unanswered questions left by the game’s ending, as well as the introduction of the North Grove and the two bastard children of the late Lord Forrester: Josera and Elsera Snow.

“It’s been great that we are able to introduce important characters such as Elsera and Josera into this universe as well as the mysteries of the North Grove,” related Bruner. “Just like the show, we knew we had to leave some questions unanswered, while firmly resolving others. We love that different players will end up with different Forresters depending on how they play, and that those decisions will affect how the unanswered questions get resolved. I won’t spoil the details of those for anyone, but I’ll say this: ‘The North Grove must never be lost.’”

There’s currently no announced release date for the second season of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series. But you can expect to see Nerdist’s review of Episode 6: The Ice Dragon this weekend!
