TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANTS IN MANHATTAN Official Trailer Released

Yesterday, PlatinumGames jokingly tweeted that the official “leak” for their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game would be revealed today, and well, it actually did end up leaking ahead of time. Soon after, Activision decided to just go ahead and release the official trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. Take a gander at the clip above.

This is most definitely a Platinum game. The cel-shaded art and high-octane action are stylistically in tune with the developer’s previous work, which includes the likes of Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengance. It actually looks a whole lot like Transformers: Devastation, which we enjoyed. However, there’s another reason to be optimistic about this game–the ninja aspect of this IP is much better suited for the hack and slash action that PlatinumGames is so great at producing.

You can nab this game come summer 2016 on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Unfortunately, it appears that the Wii U will once again be ignored, despite the fact that the Big N published Platinum’s Bayonetta 2.

I’m just excited that we might finally get the TMNT game we’ve been dreaming of. Did you see how fierce The Shredder looks?

Obviously, there’s no way of telling how Mutants in Manhattan will actually play out until we get our hands on it, but I feel confident in Platinum’s ability to create an exciting game with tight controls. One thing’s for sure, this developer needs to find a way to keep their games a secret.

What do you think about the official trailer? Could this be the TMNT game we’ve all been waiting for? Let us know in the comments below!
