TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANTS IN MANHATTAN Launch Trailer Introduces Mega Krang

After releasing two amazingly fun games based on The Legend of Korra and Transformers, Platinum Games and Activision are back this week with their latest title: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan!

Unlike Transformers: Devastation, Mutants in Manhattan isn’t directly based on any of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. Instead, it draws upon all of the cartoons with a new story by TMNT comic writer Tom Waltz. Activision has dropped the launch trailer for the game, which features the interdimensional conqueror brain known as Krang fighting the Turtles with his android body and even getting up close and personal with our heroes in the (whatever he has instead of) flesh. We also get a tantalizing glimpse of Mega-Krang, as he menaces the Turtles in giant monster form. And who doesn’t love a good giant monster fight?

Of course, it just wouldn’t be a TMNT game without the Shredder, who also shows up to take on the titular heroes. Some of the series’ most famous mutants also appear, including Bebop and Rocksteady, as well as Karai and Armaggon. But they are far from the only villains appearing in the game. Let’s just say that the Turtles are gonna have their hands full. And as April O’Neil tells them in the trailer, they’re on their own!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is out now for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
