TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 Cast Talks Making the Movie of Our Childhood Dreams

I defy you to not enjoy yourself this weekend when you ultimately get around to watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of The Shadows. As Nerdist’s Luke Y. Thompson explains in his review, the movie is childlike, energetic, and a hell of a good time (if you’re into that kind of thing), and so was our chat with the cast of the film.

We sat down with returning Ninja Turtles enthusiast Will Arnett, as well as new additions to the motion picture franchise including director David Green, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, and everyone’s favorite animal mutant goofball bad guys, Stephen Farrelly and Gary Anthony Williams as Rocksteady and Bebop, respectively.

We learned about what it costs to shoot a sequence in Madison Square Garden (fun fact: the answer is $8 billion, according to Will Arnett), the chemistry between Farrelly and Williams both on and off screen, and the secrets that went into making TMNT 2: Out of the Shadows the live action movie from your childhood dreams. The catchy cartoon theme song? Check. Vanilla Ice’s audio masterpiece that is “Ninja Rap”? Got it! And a truck that shoots manhole covers, which definitely remind you of that toy you had that fired pizzas out of the front of it? Totes got that too.

Watch our chat with the Turtles crew and check out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows, starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Stephen Amell, and Tyler Perry, in theaters now!
