Nerdist Special Reports

Talking CON MAN, Comic-Con, and Conival with Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day

Squeeee! Our nerd hearts just about burst on Friday when Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion showed up at the Nerdist Conival stage to chat about their upcoming Kickstarter web series, Con Man. After a panel that included Con Man writer PJ Haarsma, Mindy Sterling, Tricia Helfer, Felicia Day, Casper Van Dien, Nolan North, Alision Haislip, Michael Trucco, Sky Haarsma, Seth Green, and Wil Wheaton (hosted by our own Chris Hardwick); Tudyk, Fillion, and Day chatted with Dan Casey about the show’s inception, Day’s character, and this insanely awesome reunion.

For those not in the know, Con Man centers around “Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk), a co-star on Spectrum, a sci-fi series which was canceled –Too Soon– yet became a cult classic. Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) starred in the series and has gone on to become a major movie star. While Jack enjoys the life of an A-lister, Wray tours the sci-fi circuit as a guest of conventions, comic book stores, and lots of pop culture events.  The show will feature all the weird and crazy things that happen to Wray along the way to these events.”

Make sure you check out our live-blog of the Comic-Con panel, watch the brand new trailer above, and let us know who you’re most excited to see when Con Man hits Vimeo September 30, 2015!
