While Marvel may dominate the box-office these days with all their MCU characters and team-up films, whenever they drop one, Warner Brothers only requires the services of one character to dominate the box-office, Batman. In the last 75 years, Bruce Wayne and his Dark Knight alter ego have dominated comics, film and all the staples of pop-culture itself. Now, at least for the film iterations, Warner Brothers is looking to celebrate Batmanâs history with an exhibit that can be seen at Warner Brothers Studios, and the best part? If you canât make it their in person, the guys from Beyond the Marquee have you covered in an all new video:
Thereâs more than enough to get any Batman fan excited in this video. So many years, so much history, so much excellence. When you look at things like the suit from Tim Burtonâs 1989 film compared to the suit from Christopher Nolanâs The Dark Knight Rises, it really goes to show how a franchise can evolve over time. It also goes to show how versatile Batman is from an adaptation aspect. You really can do almost anything with him from a design perspective, so who knows what heâll look like in his final form in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.
Itâs been a great 75 years for Gothamâs guardian, and thereâs no doubt in our minds that the character is in store for another 75 years of excellence.
