Take a Look Inside Dark Horse’s New HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Guide Book

Take a Look Inside Dark Horse’s New HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Guide Book

This May, Dark Horse Comics will add to its growing library of He-Man collections with the release of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: A Character Guide and World Compendium. At nearly 700 pages, this massive tome is packed with everything you could possibly want to know about the He-Man Universe. Wondering when Adora (aka She-Ra) and her twin brother Adam’s birthday is? That’s in here. When it comes to the world of Eternia, it’s all in here.

Dark Horse Comics has been committed to the He-Man franchise over the last few years, consistently publishing high-quality hardcover collections of art, comics, and animation guides. They have all been beautifully done and are must-own material for anyone who grew up with the epic battle between He-Man and Skeletor.

HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE COMPENDIUM from Dark Horse Comics

This book covers everything from the franchise’s characters, to its locations, the beasts and creatures of the world, and the various weapons, spells, and magic that our heroes and villains armed themselves with. Pretty much every corner of Eternia (and beyond) is laid out here, from the first toy line’s origins in 1982 up to current day DC Comics Masters of the Universe canon.

We’re very excited to offer you a look inside the He-Man scripture, just to give you a taste of the detail contained within. These pages showcase some of the “characters” section and it really shows off how deep the book goes into the history of this world. It even tells you where a character first appeared, like the great Anti-Orko who first entered the Masters of the Universe story through the 1984 German Audio Plays. (Did you even know there were 1984 German Audio Plays?)

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: A Character Guide and World Compendium hits bookstores on May 10th and you can pre-order now from just about anywhere that carries books or collectibles (we recommend your local comic book shop). So take a peek at the pages below, and then hop in the comments to tell us your favorite He-Man and the Masters of the Universe character.
