T. Rex Conducts Orchestra Playing the JURASSIC PARK Theme Song

You know why every Jurassic Park film has a huge T-rex scene? Because the T. Rex is the best dinosaur (don’t @ me Stegosaurus people). The second best part of the franchise though has nothing to do with prehistoric creatures, it’s hearing John Williams’ iconic theme song. So how could you improve upon both of those things? No, it’s not by simply scoring another T. Rex scene with that track, it’s by having a T. Rex conduct an orchestra playing the song.

This video, that we came across at EW, was shared on Twitter by Ailyn Marie, and it’s basically everything we’ve ever wanted from those absurd T. Rex costumes, and yet it’s so much more than we ever could have dreamed of.

Can we just make this the Jurassic World sequel?

The only thing we’re upset about is that we lost nearly a year of our lives not knowing about this, since this performance took place last March at Colorado’s Comic Con. Here’s another angle of the show, where you can really appreciate the majesty of the moment.

I know Velociraptors are supposed to be the “clever” dinosaurs, but screw them. Oh cool, they can team up and attack a single person. So can a class of kindergartners. I’d like to see a Velociraptor work with skilled musicians to produce a beautiful performance the way this T. Rex did.

Although a Tyrannosaurus would probably not be able to do this without a baton. It’s almost impossible to conduct with little arms.

Can you think of a more appropriate conductor to lead a rendition of a classic movie song? Give us your best ideas in our comments section below.
