Survive Together in The Latest Trailer for THE WALKING DEAD

SPOILERS FOR THE LAST EPISODE IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH. BE WARNED.

When last we left Rick and the gang of AMC’s The Walking Dead, we were in tears over the death of a fan favorite (SPOILERS) who was unexpectedly taken out after stabbing the hard-headed Dawn (who was promptly killed by Daryl) following a trade made by Rick for her and Carol. Now with the gang back together minus a few faces, they’re back to where they started as Morgan, via post-credit scenes, is still searching for Rick and the gang. However, now he has a little help in the form of a map that might just lead him in the right direction.

So, with all that said, and the premiere date of season five’s second half fast approaching, AMC has unveiled an all new trailer we’re sure you’ll find highly enjoyable:

There’s no actual show footage in this clip, just a marketing promo shot, but we like the tone being established here. Much of the series has been spent lately watching the group split up into different directions, only to find each other later. But, so far, this clip appears to be promising a Walking Dead that will see the gang stick together as much as they can while fighting to survive – and we’re totally down for that.

At this point, AMC could just put up a black screen with a date and we’d be interested. The Walking Dead is the biggest show on television because it’s got a little bit of everything while being packed with a whole lot of story anyone can sit down and enjoy.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday, February 8th at 9/8c on AMC.
