#StyledByMarvel Brings Superhero Fashion to Instagram

Dear Marvel: We didn’t think we could love you any more, and then you go and make yet another awesome thing. Yes, we’re head over heels for #StyledByMarvel.

The geek world has taken even more notice of fashion in 2014. With partnerships between Marvel, Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Ashley Eckstein’s Her Universe, the runaway success of the Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con, and the rise in popularity of fan-created fashion pieces have definitely shown companies like Disney and Time Warner that people want clothing choices with nerdy designs and fits for all shapes, sizes and genders.

Marvel launched their style-driven new Instagram account on July 23rd. The account self-describes its purpose: “Because you don’t need to *be* a Super Hero to look like one! #StyledByMarvel.”

So far, they are sharing great lifestyle shots of superhero-inspired looks and ideas for flaunting your super-heroine status with fashion and style choices that are accessible to pretty much anyone with the internet. There are home decor items, cellphone cases, and tons of great looks you can even take to the yoga mat. We hope you’ll be hashtagging your superhero style choices with #StyleByMarvel now too so they can see all the superheroes they’re inspiring.

Here are some of our favorites from the new account:
