Given the incredibly strong response to Netflix’s Stranger Things, we won’t be surprised at all if the younger cast members go on to much bigger things in the future. That includes Millie Bobby Brown, the actress who portrayed Eleven on the series, who is already the star of a brand new music video.
Via Vulture, Brown was featured in “Find Me,” a new music video by the DJ duo known as Sigma, with vocals by Birdy. Brown doesn’t actually sing in the video (although we all know she is very good at that), instead she lip syncs to Birdy’s lyrics. But Brown does throw herself into the role of the singer as she rides an emotional rollercoaster in the span of three and a half minutes. The combination of Brown’s expressive face and Birdy’s voice has some real power to it. The video was directed by Christopher Sims, and he used some particularly intriguing imagery that infused Brown’s eyes with the bright lights of the city.
Starring in a music video is just about the most ’80s thing that Brown could have done between seasons of Stranger Things. Oddly enough, the song could actually work as a power ballad for Eleven’s journey, as Brown calls for someone to come find her “if your heart is open.”
Brown was recently confirmed to be returning for Stranger Things season 2, which will hit Netflix in 2017.
