Watch STRANGER THINGS’ Eleven Rap Like A Pro

Aside from Glee and other actual musicals, the kids from Stranger Things might be the most musical cast on television, whether we’re talking about Steve’s psychedelic rock band, Finn Wolfhard’s Nirvana cover, or Gaten Matarazzo, who has been singing the national anthem at major sporting events since 2014. After the principal cast of the show appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night, we can add Millie Bobby Brown to the list of kids with musical talent.

On the show, the cast played a game with Fallon called “Stranger Strings,” and the premise was simple: Somebody reads a card with facts the players wrote about themselves, then everybody sprays silly string at the person they think wrote the fact. The card Brown wrote read, “I can perfectly rap Nicki Minaj’s verse from ‘Monster,'” and when you make a claim like that on national television, you better be ready to put up or shut up.

With the Roots providing a beat, Brown launched into the track and she absolutely nailed it. Her rhythm was totally on point, and she managed to keep the verse going even while being sprayed by silly string. Also, it seems like Minaj’s “Monster” verse is quickly become the go-to proving ground for unexpected rappers to show off their skills on late night TV, after Adele dusted off the track during her time on The Late Late Show with James Corden in Carpool Karaoke.

Watch for yourself starting at about 4:15 into the video above, and let us know who you think did it best between Brown and Adele.
