STRANGER THINGS Concept Art Reveals Hidden Details!

Stranger Things stole our hearts and invaded our imaginations this summer, and we loved it! But there are still more mysteries ahead in the inevitable second season, and new details have come to light in some of the latest Stranger Things concept art that teases new monsters and a really grim fate for one of the fan-favorite characters. To learn more, we’re turning things upside-down on today’s Nerdist News!

If you haven’t seen the first season of Stranger Things, beware of spoilers ahead!

Here’s the scoop on the Demogorgon, our favorite new monster of the year: Did you really think that the Demogorgon was the only creature living in the Upside-Down? We’ve just learned that those eggs in the season finale didn’t even belong to the Demogorgon, which means that there’s possibly something even bigger and badder out there waiting to crossover into our world. While speaking to Variety, series creators the Duffer brothers intimated that it was only the budget that held them back from introducing more of the Upside-Down’s horrific residents.

Meanwhile, ScreenCrush revealed the concept art that showcased some even more disturbing fates for poor Barb. We’re talking seriously creepy, and not for the faint of heart! Let’s just say that the pic with spiders crawling out of her mouth might be the tame one. The Duffer Bros. have previously said that we’ll eventually get some justice for Barb, but unlike another character, she won’t be cheating death.

What do you think about the potential new monster coming to Stranger Things? And how should Barb’s absence be addressed in the new season? Let’s discuss in the comment section below!
