STRANGER THINGS Characters Get Pizzas Named After Them

Oh Barb. Nancy’s (Natalie Dyer) overly concerned best friend may have had a rough go of it on Stranger Things, but at least her character (played by Shannon Purser) is getting some love from a New York City pizza joint.

Vinnie’s Pizzeria, a Brooklyn eatery with an infamous passion for pop culture, has made Barb one of the focal points of their latest pizza specials. Head to one of their two locations (Williamsburg or Greenpoint) and you’ll be able to try the Barbecue, the Barbroiled, or the Barbohydrates—a cheese pizza topped with mini slices of cheese pizza (!). No word yet on the Rhubarb, the Camembarb, or the Barbacoa.

The pizza spot has also created specialties for Stranger Things’ Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and, my personal favorite character, the ever-loyal sidekick, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo). Their pizza slices, respectively, are the Stranger Wings, the Elevenchilada, and the Telekinesauce, and the Onions and Dragons, the Demogorgonzola, and the Upfried Down. Clever stuff.

As Entertainment Weekly reports, this isn’t the first time Vinnie’s has sported creative pizzas. Actors that have played the Joker (Heath Vegger, Jack Pickleson, Mark Ham Meal, and Jared Lettuce), Harry Potter (Dairy Potter and the Wurst Child), and a slew of Pokémon (Bulba Sour, Artichokémon, and Ricotta Catch ‘Em All) have all gotten their own ‘zzas.

Any other great pizza names you can think of for the other Stranger Things characters? Let us know in the comments below.
