Stephanie Hans Draws New AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Poster Featuring Deathlok

Warning: spoilers for the most recent episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D ahead.

Season one of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is drawing to a close, and the proverbial crap has been hitting the fan. To celebrate these last episodes of the season, Marvel has been releasing one poster each week as part of The Art of Level 7 project. The baton has been passed to artist Stephanie Hans for S.H.I.E.L.D.’s April 29th episode, “Nothing Personal.”

Her eye-catching poster design centers on Skye, Grant Ward, and Deathlok. Skye and Ward clearly need to have a discussion since she has learned about his traitorous behavior, and because things can never be simple, Deathlok returns and appears to be working for Ward. See? Crap, meet fan.

Hans is thrilled to be part of the project, and explains what she tried to capture with her illustration: “I wanted the picture to talk about the inner torment Skye is going through. You can see it in her eyes that even though she’s holding Agent Ward with all of her strength, she is not really with him at the same time: she’s fighting with herself.”

“Nothing Personal” went on sale Today Friday, April 25th, at 1:00am PST; prints are limited to 100 copies. You can purchase yours at Marvel’s shop.
