STAR WARS Woodcuts Aren’t From a Galaxy Far, Far Away

Businesses all around the galaxy are celebrating May the 4th, and some establishments even focus on making Star Wars products just for the occasion. Artist Zac Benedict got his company, Handshake Trading Post, in the spirit for the special celebration with a series of woodcuts featuring characters from the saga.

Even though the handmade art looks like it could be from the forests of Endor, it’s crafted in North Carolina. Benedict has tackled everything from spaceships to droids for the series, and yes, he takes commissions. He even does occasional giveaways on his Instagram page! See a sampling of his work in the below gallery.
