“Star Wars” Theme Calms Down Crying Baby

In case you haven’t seen this by now, here’s a crying baby who immediately calms down when he hears the Star Wars theme.

He’s Sebastian Leyack of Santa Rosa, CA, seven months old now and four months old at the time of the video, and his parents discovered by accident (the song was on the radio when the kid was bawling and he suddenly stopped) that not only did John Williams’ iconic theme have a calming effect, but that it was the ONLY song that could do that. It’s just perfect. Can we say right now that he’s the newest member of the Nerdist community? Because if the Star Wars theme has that effect on him, he is most certainly one of us….

Ya, same as above. I use to put my kid to sleep to the imperial march…I’m pretty sure I got a video of it somewhere as well. Trust me…This is a fairly common nerd tactic.

  4. Stacy says:

My baby did this, too, but she did it with the Imperial March. No joke. One time we were driving home from a friends house and we sang it over and over again for 10 minutes until we got home.
