Warning: There are massive spoilers ahead for the conclusion of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. 

In the 16-bit era of video games, the latest Star Wars movie would have probably been adapted as a side-scrolling adventure title with ridiculously high levels of difficulty. That’s the legacy of the Super Star Wars series, which will always have a special place in our gaming hearts. We may never get to see Super Star Wars: The Last Jedi become a reality, but there’s a new video that may be the next best thing. It features a 16-bit recreation of Luke Skywalker‘s last stand against Kylo Ren and the forces of the First Order.

Via ComicBook.com, this video was created and posted by YouTube user Mr. Sunday Movies. It starts with a cameo appearance by the remaining Resistance fighters before Luke heads out to face his nephew and his army. From there, it’s a beat-by-beat recreation, with all of the major lines from that sequence. There’s even time for General Hux to get one last Force push against the interior of a walker. And of course, Luke’s final fate is revealed.

Much like the film itself, this recreation also has a subtle hint that Luke isn’t really on Crait, because his footprints don’t disturb the layer of salt on the surface. And Luke’s Matrix style dodge would have really come in handy back in the days of 16-bit Darth Vader.
