Feel the Force With These Gorgeous Limited-Edition THE LAST JEDI Vinyl Records

The Last Jedi was notable for many reasons, not the least of which was having one of the most complex, layered and self referential John Williams scores in Star Wars history. Well, I Am Shark are flying back into the galaxy far, far away after their gorgeous collectors edition of The Force Awakens soundtrack, with a beautiful pressing of The Last Jedi’s emotive, powerful and iconic score. With amazing art from returning British artist Dan Mumford, the soundtrack has four different covers, two of which–based on Kylo & Snoke and Rey & Luke–are available for preorder here right now!

Via press release, the company shared that the double albums include “Original artwork created by the brilliant Dan Mumford from the UK, with collectable [sic] covers that share an exclusive inner gatefold and include framable inserts. Over 40 years after the original Star Wars theme captivated audiences around the globe, The Last Jedi soundtrack sees the return of iconic composer John Williams. Continuing through his climatic score style and underlying motifs has been extremely essential for the new series and continuing the nostalgic emotion and building new expectations.” These two collectible covers and cohesive colored vinyl pressed on 180 gram discs are available today, limited to 1000 pieces each variant. The remaining two variants will be released later in 2018.
