The Insane STAR WARS Fan Theory That Snoke is Anakin’s Evil Twin Brother

The Last Jedi is as many months away as there are episodes of Star Wars, but that doesn’t stop us from obsessively theorizing over every last detail of the galaxy far, far away. We’ll get a better idea of what’s actually coming our way once Star Wars Celebration turns Orlando, Florida into an even bigger wretched hive of scum and villainy than it already is, but in the meantime, we’ve got a metric ton of fan theories to dissect and dig through.

The latest fan theory, which comes via redditor Darby_Piper, is all about everyone’s favorite Andy Serkis-voiced hologram: Supreme Leader Snoke, the shadowy villain we first met in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This theory posits that, rather than being 12 ewoks standing on each other’s shoulders in a trench coat, Snoke is actually Anakin Skywalker’s evil twin brother. I know it sounds like a weird soap opera plot twist, but bear with me, because it might not be as crazy as you think — and we’re going to break it all down on a brand new episode of The Dan Cave.

What do you think of this fan theory? If you disagree, who do you think Snoke actually is? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to Nerdist all week long for the latest news coming out of Star Wars Celebration.
