This STAR WARS Limited-Edition Record Player is Perfect for Playing That Same Cantina Song Over and Over

It’s time to get your “Jedi Rocks” off, Padawans. Crosley Radio is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope with a galactic limited–special, you could say–edition record player. Featuring the iconic Episode IV poster by the Brothers Hildebrandt, the player is pulling double commemorative occasion duty; in addition to the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, it’s honoring the 10th annual Record Store Day.

Record Store Day is about paying homage to brick and mortar record stores, and the role they play in their communities. They bring people together, serve as hangouts, and are shining beacons of light to music aficionados. Therefore, you’ll only find the Star Wars record player at independent record stores on Record Store Day, April 22.

Besides featuring the coolest art, the Crosley Cruise Deluxe player is portable and has three speeds. The turntable has Bluetooth capability (because of course it does), full-range stereo speakers, and all the modern touches you’d expect–even though the design is intentionally retro.

The record player will set you back 109.95 credits. (If you do pick up this record player, you’re obligated to play John Williams music on it at least once. I’m pretty sure a bounty will be put on your head if you don’t play “Cantina Band.”)

Will you be visiting your local independent record store to nab one of these beauties? If so, will you play a Star Wars vinyl first? I feel like you sort of have to. Tell me your plans in the comments.
