Bizarre States‘ Andrew Bowser, producer Jason Nguyen, and editor Kyle Anderson joined host Jessica Chobot today, and they wanted to start right meow with the first full Super Troopers 2 trailer. What did we think of it? Are we fans of the original? Can the sequel live up to the first film? Or has the world of comedy changed too much since 2001 for it to work?
We also got the trailer for the final season of Star Wars Rebels, and Kyle broke down who will survive. Why should fans of the galaxy far, far away be watching? What kind of series do we hope to see next, another animated show or the rumored live-action series? What network or service would be the best landing spot for it? And what did we think of Rian Johnson’s simple-but-beautiful smackdown about the end of The Last Jedi?
Speaking of out this world, the son of Krypton is getting his classic red trunks back, but why is this such a big deal for fans beyond what color (outer) underwear Superman wears? And on the Marvel side of the comics world, what do we make of this week’s big X-Men wedding proposal?
And finally, because it’s “What the Friday!” we checked out Taco Bell’s “Web of Fries” commercial. We have to admit it’s great, but is it great enough to make us eat their new fries?
