STAR WARS: OBI-123 Helps Your Young Padawans Learn to Count

Getting your kids hooked on Star Wars at an early age isn’t always easy, since the movies can be a bit much for younger viewers. The cartoon series helped to draw the age minimum down a few years, but if kids have things like Paw Patrol and Bubble Guppies to keep their attention, Clone Wars and Rebels just can’t always cut it. (Believe me, I’ve tried with my nephew. Paw Patrol is king!) However, thanks to the wonderfully adorable illustrations by artist Katie Cook, you can have your younglings learning to count with the new book Star Wars: OBI-123.Obi1231021317

This new counting book, written by Calliope Glass and Caitlin Kennedy, is a follow-up to their previous Star Wars ABC-3PO alphabet book that was also illustrated by Cook. According to StarWars.com, the book is full of Star Wars-themed poems that help your little padawans learn to count with references from all over the movie canon, accompanied by Katie Cook’s signature adorable drawing style. The illustrations are really what make these books come alive, and you can tell there’s some serious Star Wars fandom behind each of them.Obi1233021317

Fans of Cook’s art will know that she has a certain passion for Star Wars and pretty much all things nerdy. For those currently unfamiliar, you can begin your obsession with her style via online store that’s chock full of Doctor Who, My Little Pony, and Hamilton prints all available to purchase. Additionally, you can send her art out to anyone on Facebook in the form of the Star Wars chat stickers she designed.

Star Wars: OBI-123 is available now for your little padawan learners and can be ordered through Disney.com.
