We know, we know: Star Wars excitement is at a fever pitch, but can you blame us? With The Force Awakens ushering in a whole new era of adventures from a galaxy far, far away, of course we’re excited—and looking for any which way to celebrate our obsessive love of George Lucas’, and now J.J. Abrams’, epic space opus. So when Covergirl sent us their new line of inspired lipsticks for a Periscope unboxing we did a few months back, we couldn’t just let that be the end of the story.

So Jessica Chobot and BB-8 teamed up with both the light side and the dark to show off each of all six colors AND show you a way to create an ombré lip to prepare you for your Rendezvous with the Resistance (or Date with the Dark Side, if that’s your thing). With step-by-step instructions (and commentary from everyone’s favorite lil’ ball droid), there’s no way you won’t end up the envy of every Dot Matrix you know (oh wait—wrong movie)!
