STAR WARS Levitating Death Star Speaker is the Accessory We’re Looking for

No Bothans have to die to get the ultimate space battle station into your home. With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hitting theaters at the end of the year, the Death Star is becoming the hottest new must-have accessory and now you can own one that does double duty and plays all your favorite jams.

That’s no moon, it’s also an amplifier! This officially licensed Death Star speaker designed by Plox serves it’s purpose by providing clear and sharp sound. It’s functional, but it also becomes a beautiful display piece, levitating in space much like the real Death Star. Except this one will stay in one piece.

Though the onscreen Death Star met it’s maker twice, this one uses a magnetic base to defy gravity and keep itself intact. Still, if you want to take it with you it can be used as a portable speaker without the base, say if you have to make a quick trip along the Kessel Run.

The 360 sound is played via Bluetooth and can go continuously for up to five hours. Just think, that’s five full hours of Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes that you can play for your house guests. There’s no shame in grabbing your Kloo Horn to play backup along with the band.

The Levitating Death Star Speaker would make a great holiday gift for any Star Wars fan and is available on getplox.com. Check out more images in the gallery below.

Despite fears of attacking Rebels, would you want to display a levitating Death Star in your home? Let us know in the comments!
