Star Wars fans, we love our collections. They remind us of fond childhood memories and venturing to a galaxy far, far away. This same nostalgia applies to another comfort from our youth: mac and cheese. Now Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and Star Wars have joined forces to create new ways to share those experiences as a family.
Kraftâs new commercial (seen above) features more than 750 hand-picked Star Wars collectibles curated by Rancho Obi-Wan, the Guinness Record holder for the largest private Star Wars collection. Watching the dad tenderly place the toy back onto its shelf space is almost too much to bear, until the kid comes back with the best one-liner yet.
Now, Kraft is getting interactive. Fans can visit KraftStarWarsRoom.com to explore the commercial set and learn about the collection of iconic memorabilia. Eagle-eyed fans will see items like the Kenner Death Star Space Station, a Rancor statue, and custom Super7 flocked wallpaper. The website allows you to click on certain items to get even more in-depth information.
And those of you who want to emulate the ad can grab Star Wars Kraft Mac & Cheese in four collectible character boxes, featuring Yoda, Darth Vader, R2-D2 and C-3PO. Select retail stores will also offer limited-edition collectorâs posters with purchase, depicting Star Wars Kraft Mac & Cheese noodle characters. Is there anything more hilariously amazing then a poster featuring a pasta X-wing blowing up the Death Star?
