STAR WARS: GALAXY OF HEROES Adds GENERAL GRIEVOUS and the AAT

With Star Wars Celebration Europe going in “full force” this weekend (I’ll show myself out), the announcements from a galaxy far, far, away have been both awesome and plentiful. Electronic Arts, the developer behind the Star Wars games that don’t begin with the word “Lego,” joined in on the fun with the release of a new trailer for their mobile game Galaxy of Heroes.

EA revealed on YouTube that the next raid for the mobile game will be called Tank Takedown. It will introduce the AAT and General Grievous to the game as well. If your team is able to defeat them, you can win exclusive game mods.

Galaxy of Heroes allows mobile users to acquire characters from the entire spectrum of the Star Wars universe and have them team up for epic battles. From the prequels to Rebels to Force Awakens, there is a plethora to choose from. Unlike other Star Wars games, Galaxy of Heroes isn’t considered “in canon,” since you are able to join together characters regardless of where they originated from. Think Lego Dimensions, with just Star Wars.

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is available for download on both iOS and Android. You can also check out more videos from EA’s Star Wars games on their channel here.

So what do you think? Are you excited to try out this new level in Galaxy of Heroes? Or do you try to distance yourself from the prequels as much as possible? Let me know on Twitter or agree with me that Obi-Wan is the best lightsaber wielder ever in the comments below.
