STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII Will Finish Shooting on…

Wondering when the next chapter in the Star Wars saga will wrap production? According to veteran star Mark Hamill, Episode VIII will finish shooting this month…

At a recent event in the UK, Hamill joked that once Episode VIII wraps he’ll be out of work, leading some fans to question whether or not Luke will survive the next film. Hamill, however, addressed these rumors in another recent tweet:

Directed by Rian Johnson and co-starring Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran, Star Wars: Episode VIII flies into our galaxy on December 15, 2017.

Ghostbusters

After a long series of trailers, the first official clip from Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot is at long last here. And it introduces two new pieces of ghostbusting equipment: the ghost chipper and the proton glove!

So how soon will it be before these new gadgets are sold in toy stores? Or are they there already and I’m just shopping at the wrong toy stores?! In any case, Ghostbusters opens everywhere on July 15.

Finally today… We bid a sad farewell to British filmmaker Robin Hardy, who directed the original 1973 version of The Wicker Man. As good a film as the Nicolas Cage remake was bad, it’s still arguably the finest screen thriller to emerge from the UK.
