STAR WARS Elite Series Figures Re-Releasing via Disney Store (Exclusive)

Last year’s Force Friday was a huge day for Star Wars collectors, with long lines and toys selling out as quickly as they hit the shelves. Now in celebration of Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming to Blu-ray on April 5, the Disney Store is re-releasing the characters that were introduced as part of the original Star Wars Elite Series.

These die cast action figures were released in limited quantities and quickly sold out. They each represent characters from Episodes I through VI: Darth Maul, Anakin, General Grievous, the classic Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett.

These highly articulated figures are keenly detailed and come with their corresponding accessories. Grievous, ever the hoarder, comes with four lightsabers. Of note for collectors, the main difference with this re-release is the Boba Fett variant, who’s now donning a cape, making him a must-buy for figure collectors. Between cape and no cape, I always choose cape. Here at Nerdist, we have the exclusive of Boba Fett and his new look:

In addition to the release of the Elite Series Die Cast Action Figures and The Force Awakens Blu-ray, April 5 also marks the revenge of the tsum! Not really, they’re too cute to be vengeful, but it the date when the Episode I Tsum Tsum collection makes it’s debut as well. Everything’s coming up Star Wars and it’s all on April 5!

So ready your cash, Star Wars fans. The dark side is pulling at your wallet and you should definitely give in. Check out all the Elite figures in the gallery below.
