STAR WARS Bean Machine From Jelly Belly

Think you have enough Star Wars stuff in your house? Oh no, my dear Padawan, you do not. Your collection wouldn’t be complete without this new Star Wars Bean Machine from Jelly Belly. They’re the jelly bean company that brought you such flavors as buttered popcorn and toasted marshmallow. (Feel free to debate the awesomeness/horror of those flavors in the comments.) They’re also the ones who brought us Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans (don’t judge–that’s the British spelling of “flavor”) from Harry Potter, flavors like vomit, ear wax, booger, sausage, and rotten egg.

The Star Wars Bean Machine is a jelly bean dispenser featuring a Death Star globe to hold your beans, a picture of Darth Vader on the base, and his loyal Stormtrooper henchman who you shove forward to get your delicious treats. You can get it on JellyBelly.com for $24.99 and it holds 23 oz. of beans. It comes with a 1 oz. bag, but that’s just an evil tease. Sounds like something a Sith Lord would come up with. Even better than the machine itself is this amazing commercial for it from Vat19, which includes a man dressed as Lando Calrissian saying, “That candy came from the Death Star? That thing is operational,” an arm getting cut off with a lightsaber (a staple of every Star Wars film) and an animated jelly bean talking about dispensaries. Yup. Sounds about right.

Tweet me/us @JennaBusch/@Nerdist, tell us about your favorite/most hated flavors and invite us over the day this arrives at your house. Fun game idea for those of you who lean towards the Dark Side: Fill it with those Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, get your friends wasted and play “Guess the Flavor.” For the record, buttered popcorn is the best! Discuss!
