Those pesky vampires! If theyâre not looking to bite your neck, theyâre trying to steal your fries. Luckily, Stacked: Food Well Built is looking out for you. This Halloween season theyâre introducing a garlic-themed menu with signature items that are sure to keep vampires at bay. I went and tried out all the dishes to see which ones were contenders to stop the succubus onslaught.
Garlic Chicken and Bacon Pizza
This was a glorious pizza, with two types of cheese, mozzarella and cheddar, topped with grilled chicken breast, grape tomatoes, garlic sauce and green onions. Letâs not forget the Applewood smoked bacon. Even a vampire canât resist bacon and garlic sauce.
Garlic Shrimp Mac ânâ Cheese
This was delicious but pretty hefty. Mac ‘n’ Cheese is overloaded with fresh garlic, grilled shrimp, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, green onions, and Parmesan bread crumbs. To me, this was more of a side to share but if you can handle the whole thing on your own, more power to you.
Garlic Parmesan Bacon Burger
One of the best burgers Iâve had — and I donât say that lightly. The burger is topped with Applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, fresh Parmesan cheese, and a creamy herb dressing. Fresh garlic and a brioche bun made it a very distinctive burger.
Garlic Chicken Sandwich
Iâm calling it, of all the dishes this was my favorite. Served on a rustic French roll along with grilled chicken breast, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce, it was definitely the Garlic Aioli that made me keep going back for me.
Steak Salad with Creamy Garlic Dressing
Seems like a missed opportunity to call this a stake salad, just saying. This dish was another favorite, this seemingly average salad was a surprise mostly due to the addition of Applewood smoked bacon and flat iron steak. Garlic lovers will revel in the inclusion of not only fresh garlic but creamy garlic dressing. Mmm, garlic overload.
Garlic Parmesan Fries
You canât go wrong with garlic and Parmesan cheese. These are served with a choice of french fries or sweet potato fries.
If youâre feeling over-garlicked, don’t worry. Stacked is also introducing seasonal shakes, including a Pumpkin Pie Shake that literally tastes like a piece of pumpkin pie was blended up into a cup of heaven. They also offer an adult version with Jack Daniels theyâre calling the Jack-o-Lantern Shake. If you are on the anti-PSL train, Stacked also offers up a sweet Mint Shake which is sure to wash away that aromatic garlic-fest.
At the end of this garlic-filled meal, Stacked is kind enough to consider those around you and brings out a round of mints to cleanse your palate before you head out into the world.
