We’ve enjoyed Squirrel-Monkey.com‘s retro versions of current Internet mainstays like Twitter and LinkedIn before, but it was a matter of time before they did their version of what Spotify would have been like in the ’80s. “Axel F”! “Take On Me!” All the hits, beeping and booping as they would have sounded over a BBS back before streaming audio was a thing. And including Philip Glass is pretty genius. I’d tell you about enduring a Philip Glass concert at college way back when, but let’s just not go there.
