SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING’s Final Trailer Shows Off New Spidey Tech

While the rest of the world was sleeping, Marvel decided to release the final trailer for this summer’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Similar to previous trailers, we gain a look at Tom Holland‘s portrayal of Peter Parker in and out of his hi-tech Spidey suit, courtesy of Tony Stark. If you thought Spider-Man’s new costume was cool in last year’s Captain America: Civil War, then you haven’t seen anything yet.

Right out of the gate, the trailer has Peter being greeted by the suit’s artificial intelligence, which alerts him to 576 possible web shooter combinations. Whoever came up with that exact number deserves some props, especially if they tried to map out all of the 576 possibilities.

Later, we hear Peter’s first reference to the “Stark Internship,” which looks to be a cover for Peter checking in with Tony on his daily crime-fighting. Instead of fighting the likes of Thanos or Ultron, Peter is helping old ladies cross the street and stopping your run-of-the-mill muggers. However, when Spider-Man comes across thieves with state-of-the-art weaponry, he wants to step up to the plate and show his worth. Unfortunately, Tony only wants Peter to worry about being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

From there, we see glimpses of a Spider-Parachute and Spider-Drone as Spider-Man faces off against Michael Keaton’s Vulture. There’s even a “Training Wheels Protocol” that you just know will come into play at some point during the film. Hopefully once Peter figures out how to disable it.

One last takeaway from all of the marketing for Spider-Man: Homecoming is that the agreement between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures will allow fans to see a Spider-Man that feels like he’s leaped straight out of a Marvel comic book. Especially when you see him swinging through New York City right beside the Invincible Iron Man.

So, what do you think about the final trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming? Does it show too much, or does it have you extra pumped to see the film when it arrives in theaters on July 7? Let us know!
