There are two things in this universe that we know to be true:
1) Penguins are the greatest of all the flightless birds.
2) Pete Travis’ 2012 film Dredd was goddamn terrific.
If you disagree with either of these statements, I’m sorry, but you’re wrong. Morally, spiritually, ethically — you’re just wrong.
Bearing these two facts of life in mind, it’s only natural that we would share with you the greatest toy we have seen in quite some time: Penguin Judge Dredd.
In Mega City One’s cooler quarters, PJD is the judge, the jury, and the executioner. He is the law. Being the law-abiding citizens that they are, Blind Mouse Toys has created a 11.5cm-tall PVC statuette of our favorite futuristic lawman. Designed by Daniel Balmforth and Steve Scholz, and painted by sculptor Joe Amaro, this is a must-have for fans of both 2000 A.D. and Happy Feet alike.
What other classic characters deserve a penguin version? Let us know in the comments below or tell me on Twitter (@Osteoferocious).

Karl Urban comes from a country overwhelmed with flightless birds, penguins included. I think Statement 1 may be contested by the man himself.
They have penguins in New Zealand? I thought they just had sheep.
We have penguins, and kiwis, and kakapo, and we used to have the moa, all flightless.
That’s the Skipper from Penguins of Madagascar!
