There was the late Bob Ross, the frizzy-haired, soft-spoken king of speed painting on PBS for many years. gotta say…i dont care for it. Bob Ross is a bit of a hero to me. Im not opposed to some fun editing/mixing/remixing including him, but frankly this video seems kinda lazy. Personally i think it would be far more creative if they setup a “fresh beat” and did some fun quick-cut editing of Ross sound bites. Seems to me you could almost come up with a whole tune built around “hhhhhhhappy clouds..hhh hhhh hhhaappy clouds”. Could also grab a sample of the AMAZING sound of his brush against the canvas and loop that. hmmm….i think im on to something here…..maybe i should put my money where my mouth is and do it myself?….
