GRAND THEFT AUTO V in 4D is Mind-Bendingly Awesome

I know Grand Theft Auto V isn’t the current hotness on the internet at the moment, but you’re going to want to check this out.  YouTube channel fdynamics posted the above clip where they made GTA V work on a Force Dynamics’ 401cr motion system, making a normal cruise down the streets of Los Santos into an even more exciting endeavor. Madness obviously ensued.

Ever since this franchise was thrust into the limelight, many have found enjoyment in roaming the streets of the virtual cities and wreaking as much havoc as possible. Doing it in 4D definitely takes the joyride to the next level.

First of all, GTA V in a 4D experience looks like a complete blast. This particular set up lets you ride around Los Santos, enjoy a rollercoaster ride, and even fly a plane like never before. Virtual reality is certainly going to become more prevalent in the near future, but could you imagine an apparatus that combines the two techs? That’s a future in which I want to live.

It seems like the excellent physics in the game are partially a reason why this works so well—at least according to the video’s description. It’s insane to watch the seat of the motion system whip the player around so wildly when things really get out of hand. I’d like to see mods that take this tech into account create more rollercoasters in the game. I’m surprised they didn’t try the recently added lowrider—now that would would have given them style points.

What do you think about this rig? Would you want one of your own? Let us know in the comments below.
