Sneakerhead Foodies Will Crave These New Pizza Shoes

Move over Chicken and Waffles sneakers. There’s new foodie footwear in town, and thy name is pizza.

Nike has been bringing its designing A-game when it comes to delicious wearable collabs, and their newest show is simply savory. High Snobiety gives us a first look at Nike’s team up with Skate Mental on the pepperoni pizza edition of the Janoski Dunk Low line.

The sneaker is covered in pizza graphics, even getting the detailing down to the soles with a red pepper insole and marinara red lining. One can only hope that the color of the shoelaces is inspired by mozzarella cheese.

Unfortunately for food-on-the-feet collectors, Nike has yet to reveal the release date for this delectable design. For fans who just can’t wait, you’re in luck, as Nike’s Dunk Low Cold Pizza version is currently up on its website.

This shoe is for the subtle pizza-lover. Clad to look like a wrap of tin foil, the real beauty is on the inside where a scrumptious pizza insole awaits.

The Janoski food collection are skateboarding shoes that are “inspired by the traditional cuisine of street skaters.” All this flavorful fashion is great, but where are the taco shoes? At the very least can I get some pico de gallo laces or guac lifts?

You’ll have to wait a bit for the special pizza shoes, but in the meantime Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “Cold Pizza” are currently available at Nike.com. Check out more views of the shoes in the gallery below.

Do these shoes make you hungry for pizza? Let us know in the comments!
