Dammit, Konami, against all odds, you just got me excited about a Metal Gear game. This lengthy trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is positively packed with weirdness (Boss’ cyber arm, child soldiers, and so, so much blood), and best of all, it’s my kind of weird. The action, which will take place in an area over 200 times the size of the environment in Ground Zeroes might continue Kojima Production’s history of throwing its protagonists through the emotional (and physical) meat grinder.
