Sleater-Kinney Get Down With The Cast Of BOB’S BURGERS In Cartoon Form

When Sleater-Kinney released their video for “No Cities To Love”—which featured celebs like Gerard Way, Andy Samberg and Evan Rachel Wood singing along to the track—we didn’t think we could fall deeper in love with the Pacific Northwest power-punk goddesses. However, much like our one-time opinion that all pants should have elastic waistbands, we were very wrong.

For the trio’s follow-up single, they’ve teamed up with an even more awesome team of equally famous celebrities—the animated cast of Bob’s Burgers.

Yup, all the Belchers—Bob! Linda! Louise! Gene! Tina!—make a guest appearance in the clip for “New Wave,” which also features the animated alter-egos of Sleater-Kinney members Carrie Brownstein, Corin Tucker, and Janet Weiss.

Up until now, we were under the impression that Tina Belcher loved only two things in life: Horses and boys’ butts.

However, after watching the video, we know realize that the kissing-crazed tween has an unapologetic admiration for feminist-leaning indie rock.

Who knew?

Actually, now that we think of it, this isn’t the first time Tina has explored her passion for alternative music and female-fronted bands.

In 2013, St. Vincent appeared in an offshoot web series called “Bob’s Buskers,” where an animated version of the singer/guitarist performed a rockin’ jam called “Bad Girls”. Check it out below!

Sleater-Kinney’s latest album, No Cities To Love, is out now on Sub Pop. To check out upcoming tour dates, head over to the band’s site.

While you go do that, we’re gonna dance on outta here, Tina-style.
